The Life & Teachings of Jesus

Notes from Sunday evening teaching.

For some time in 2008 our Sunday evening teaching focussed on the Life and Teachings of Jesus. Although we have diverted onto other areas we feel God wants us to cover we have not abandoned this series and will be returning to it in the future.

Jesus is our role-model as Christians. Although he was the Son of God, he laid aside his status as God and became fully man. The miracles he performed he did not do as God, but as a man, and so his life demonstrates what is possible for a human being, fully yielded to God. Jesus said so himself when he promised that his followers would not only do the same works as him, but do even greater things (John 14:12).

Our goal therefore, as disciples of Jesus, is to live our lives on earth in the same way as him, and this practical and relevant teaching series aims to equip each one of us to live a "naturally supernatural" lifestyle.

See What's On to see when the teachings will be taking place - normally two Sunday evenings a month, but we do aim to keep our Sunday evening program flexible.

These resources are in Adobe Acrobat format and you will need to have Acrobat Reader installed on your PC to read them. This software can be downloaded free of charge from the Adobe website.
